Christian boho_to_be	♥ From the movie Moulin Rouge!. Played by Ewan McGregor. ♥ Age 17, a senior, and coming from 1895 London. ♥ Totally has a last name. It's muttercoughmutter. ♥ Loves freedom, beauty, truth, justice, love and anything else he thinks is Bohemian. Love is his faaaaaaaaaavorite. ♥ Wants to be a writer, and has a habit of spouting lyrics to songs that do not, strictly speaking, exist in 1895. I don't know where he gets them either, but it's canon. (Ah, cracktastic canon.) ♥ He's friendly, he's open, he's naive, and he honestly believes the best in people. And he crumples if he realizes any of those things are being betrayed. ♥ Knows he looks like somebody named Obi-Wan, and thinks it is both cool and a little annoying to have it brought up.
Henry DeTamble one_who_goes	♠ From Audrey Niffeneger's The Time Traveler's Wife. Played by James Purefoy. (We ignore the movie.) ♠ Has been the school librarian since January. Still can't quite believe the place. ♠ Age 40. Likes punk rock, mystery novels, languages, art & books. Has an estranged wife and child back in Chicago. ♠ Travels in time due to a genetic quirk. (His toddler daughter has the same ability.) Pretty much this is classic case of Blessed with Suck -- he goes naked, he can't control it, he can't significantly change what's going to happen, and he knows he'll die young because of it. Tends not to bring any of this up due to the massive emo involved. ♠ Special skills include running, fighting, picking locks, and petty theft.
Quinn Fabray chief_cheerio	♦ From Glee. Played by Dianna Agron. ♦ Age 16, a junior, and precanon. She's from a different universe to sexonyoursheets. ♦ A very, very, very serious cheerleader -- she was captain on a national champion squad. ♦ Kind of a bitch, in a classic high school mean girl way. If she's rude to you, that's her, not me, but please let me know if you need her to back off. ♦ Pretty damn ambitious, and not especially moral about it -- she looks out for her own interests first. If she's on your side, she'll do about anything for you; if she isn't, look out. ♦ Religious, in an always-wears-a-cross, celibacy-club-president, kinda way. She doesn't preach at people all the time or anything, but she will play the Jesus card if she sees a good reason to. (You can see her necklace clearly in this picture. It's usually worn over her clothing and should be quite noticeable.)
Tara Maclay life_inshadow	♠ From Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV canon only). Played by Amber Benson. ♠ Age 16 and a junior. Pre-canon. (In her universe, season 2 is about to start, not that she knows that.) ♠ Sweet, a little geeky, and still pretty damned shy, though she's slowly coming out of her shell. She stammers when she's nervous, though I try not to overdo it in her pings. ♠ Is a Wiccan. In the Buffyverse, this means ~~the writers got tired of typing the word "witch"~~ she uses magic in an ethical way. She's not an especially strong witch just yet, but she's getting more powerful as she studies. ♠ Reads auras. Canon makes it pretty clear she can't see if someone is supernatural or not, but she can get a general emotional read and tell if something is wrong (e.g., Riina showed up for her in Tahiri's aura as a dark, staticy presence that didn't belong there, and Jono's aura is overwhelming to her). If you think your character would have a noticeably funky aura, let me know and I'll work with it. ♠ Comes from an emotionally abusive family. She's not likely to talk about this. ♠ Is seriously dating Kennedy these days. For they shall rule the world with cute. ♠ Special note: She doesn't know much of anything about her canon fate. If you think your character would tell her something, please run it by me.
